Making Hinges

I'm planning on making hinges for my new pit, however all the tubing and round bar I find has alot of play in it, like an 1/8'' or more. I've looked at Lowes, Tractor Supply, and Home depot but it's all the same.

I was going to order some online does anyone have any recommendations on what sizing to get?

Weldable bullet hinges? Not sure what you're building.

Perhaps you could try long metric bolts in place of rod for a snugger fit in the tubing?

Check out McMaster Carr, they have a bunch of "nestable" tubing and stock.
