Caught some nice big walleyes on Lake Erie on Sunday/monday. Man I love 'em on the grill. I use Reynolds "release" non stick foil. Mop the fillets with melted real butter, then season as you like. I just used some Sylvia's lemon/pepper on these. mmmmm good!

Looks a lot like a great dinner to me. Love grilled fish of any kind, the fresher the better, of course, and what could be fresher than your own catch:eek:

The key to good seafood is using REAL butter. IMHO, all you need is REAL butter, Old Bay and lemon.

The fish looks great dude.

Man, I'm with you on the walleye all the way. They are my favorite freshwater fish. Do you leave the skin on when grilling? Do you ice fish for them too?? I like ice fishin' because in my neck of the woods, you can get just as drunk on water...as you can on land. Heheee

Thirdeye,
nope, i remove the skin. Now perch are a different story....always leave skin on those.

hey all

Kinda off the cooking topic, but speaking of walleye. the biggest walleye festival in the states is this weekend in Fond du lac, WI. Huge fish fry, lots of beer, with bands, and pro walleye tourney by mercury.
