The Camdolly is an obvious solution to sit a Cambro on. I have a UPC400.

The camdolly costs almost $200. I also see that there are some platform trucks that the Cambro will fit on too, and for less than half the money.

I'm thinking that the platform is the better option since I can re-use it to tote other stuff after I'm done moving the Cambro. The camdolly seems to be single purpose.

What am I missing? Are there strong reasons why I should definitely go with a Camdolly?

one of the teams in a local BBQ Comp, use one of these, and at first we were laughing at them because it did take a little longer to set up and it just seemed like so much effort, but by the time the event was over they were packed up, and not tired like we were.

I'm really liking the hydraulic lift, but that's even more expensive and I was hoping to save money. Still, I think that rig would save possible injuries with heavy lifting. I think it'd be worth it.

Can you expand on what exactly took longer to set up? Not following there. Did it take longer because they used the lift vs. just hand carrying?

depending on what you're transporting on, this could work for a lot less?

Also HF, $11.99. You just might have to reinforce it a bit to keep them from sliding?

Wow dude, you read my mind! I actually came back to post that this is exactly what I ended up doing. I bought one of these and used a couple of tow straps to tie it down and it works perfectly!

I'll still end up getting the hydraulic cart down the line to lift really heavy items, but the wheels are taken care of.

Thanks everyone!
