Best in the West Rib Cookoff....Off to eat ribs

Living here in Reno, I have always enjoyed stuffing my face with ribs at the Best in the West Rib Cookoff. However, since i started frequenting this site a couple of years my ribs have gotten so good that the event doesnt have the same allure it once did.

That being said, im heading out the door right now and fully intend on stuffing my belly until it can't take anymore. Im guessing some of the bretheren will also be there enjoying the evening?

Aussom Aussie is there every year. They used to be my favorite but the last couple of years his ribs have been really, really salty. Once you learn to cook really good ribs on your own these rib events really lose their attraction. Its a great social event as they get about 300,000 people over the course of the 5 days but id rather stay home and cook my own.
