Competitions in Connecticut or New England.

So a buddy of mine and I would like to start trying our hand at BBQ competitions in 2015. Does anyone know of any links or ways to keep track of events coming near our area?

Again, we are brand new to all of this, but would appreciate the help.

Welcome aboard the crazy train of Competition BBQ. It is a lot of fun. There are a chit load of contests in the tri-state area. We hope to catch up with you somewhere along the way.

Within just a few hours of travel time, you could also consider comps in NY.

August in Manorville, NY (easy trip via the ferry)
August in New Paltz, NY
