Went to the Illinois Bash today,and it was held at Rub's Backcountry Smokehouse. Great food and service. You know your having BBQ when you walk into the place and the aroma hits you. We sat in the room with the most awesome smoker the weighs in at a hefty 8000 lbs. The owner really knows his product. The brisket was moist, full of flavor, and you can't believe the bark. Then there was the pulled pork, the the sausage from texas,and the ribs. We all ate more than we should. If your in the area don't miss this jewel, it will be worth every penny.
