This is a new one that seems like it snuck in quickly on the KCBS schedule. It's held at Barber Motorsports Park which is a very fun place to be at if you've never been, well worth going to & it's being put on by the Cates. I'll be there judging this

River Rat Pig Porkers will be there.The entry fee not only covers the comp. but gets you four tickets to the race. Rumor has it that if enough teams compete this year, the $10000 prize money will go up to $50000 next year. It sounds like they are really trying to make this a huge event for this part of the country as they have done with others.

Yep & I've heard the Cates are also in talks to possibly bring DegaQue back as well. There's enough space to have teams if the prize money goes up

Just got email from the Cates, that the contest in now a Sat/Sun contest rather than a Fri/Sat contest due to Haleyville,AL having a contest same weekend
