Any competitions in NY for 2015?

Well there are a bunch but it depends on where you want to go. There is one in Rochester on memorial day weekend I believe. There is one in Lake Placid over the 4th weekend. There is one in New Paltz in August I believe...3rd weekend i believe. There will be one in Peconic at the Greenport Harbor Brewery last weekend in June. There is one in staten island in april. Not sure if the one in Troy NY will go this year but its usually in July. There is a Kosher BBQ in Carle Place or westbury in June.

Not far from you is a contest in Ridgefield, CT May 1-3, 2015.

2nd Annual Ridgefield Gone Country BBQ Festival: http://www.ridgefieldbbqct.com/

NEBS Grilling May 2nd, KCBS BBQ May 3rd. Located at the Lounsbury House on Main Street, Ridgefield, CT in a park like setting.

Ridgefield borders Westchester County, NY and is about 45 minute drive from NYC.

Father's Day weekend there is one in Wilson, NY and late September is Oinktoberfest in Clarence.

New contest in Syracuse May 15 & 16. Salt City BBQ festival. Just listed last week on KCBS The organizer previously had a contest in Aug 12. Also new contest in Farmington, NY- Sept 4 & 5th Finger Lakes Fire & Smoke - Organizer Rikk Foringer from Shortsville Smokers. Cresskill, NJ (northern NJ) has one in Sept as well.

The Hicksville Fire Department will have their annual contest in Cantiague Park on Long Island in the fall.
