Catfish n Frog Legs

Nothing fancy.. just supper. Caught the catfish while camping and the legs were store bought.

I let both fish and legs soak in some lemon juice for a short time.

Used one of the propane burners on the patio.
dredged the catfish in a cornmeal, cayenne, salt, lemon pepper mix.

made a seasoned flour for the frog legs...I decided to cut the legs in half for easy eatin'.

I couldn't think of a side dish to go with these so I went with beer.
Polygamy Porter... Why have just one?

Not a fancy supper but I enjoyed it. :)

Jeanie that's awesome. Coincidentally I just picked up a pound of frog legs on my lunch break and I have some catfish thawing.. Is it ok if I am a copy cat tonight??

PS: if you don't believe beer is liquid vegetables and fruits read the label!!!

Good Eats A Great supper Had frog legs a long time ago and really liked them I am suprised that you dont raise them :mrgreen:
 
Aw....yes. I'll have a plate of that! Looks soooo good. May have to thaw out some. I have tons. Fishing buddy doesn't eat em', just catches them, :crazy: so I get to keep the whole catch.
