I guess I need to revisit my "no good restaurant bbq" rating for my town. Given the fact we are a half hour away from KC (on the rare occasion that I might crave some restaurant cue) , and there are a lot of great restaurants in town, The local Catbacker club went to Biggs BBQ for the KSU-Baylor game (yeah, we are K-State fans in Lawrence so not all that popular). They have a Burgers by Biggs near our house, which is very good, so I thought I'd give the BBQ a shot. One of the appetizers was chicken legs which were very good, so I got some spares and they were very good. The beans and fresh cut fries are great as well.
Biggs also recently took over the old Buffalo Bob's downtown that closed after 37 years, so I'm sure its a good option as well.
