My parents bought this in the mid 70's. Never been cracked, refurbished, and even the firebox is unbroken.

Awesome! It'll easily go another 40 some years.
 
I need to build a cart for it, but the house I live in really doesn't have a place to put it. As is, I keep it in the garage, covered, and away from harm.:-D
 
I would think one of those bathtub places could reglaze that.
 
I would keep it in the garage & get it out for your cooks.

To the reglazing comment- I think that's just the look of the original finish yes? It
Looks almost metallic with the brick underneath. Either way I'd leave it as is and cook away!
 
Here is a close up picture of the finish. I have no plans to re-glaze it. I like the weathered look. If you look REAL close, you can see japaneese characters above the "T"
