Spare Rib Scraps

Throwing some spares on the smoker for dinner tonight. Gonna trim 'em up, St. Louis style. I'd like to throw the scrap trimmings on the smoker as well, chop them up, and put them in the baked beans.

Any tips on how to cook the scraps?
 
My rib trimmings never make it past the cook. Since they're small they cook pretty quick, and I need to taste things to make sure everything is OK.
 
Same here, the cooks private snack.......

If i do a lot of ribs, I'll save some for the beans....
 
freeze the rib trimmings and when you get enough, make sausage!
 
Perfect way to try a new rub or sauce! I like slow cooking them in a stew sometimes too.
