Split some dried pitted dates, filled half with goat cheese and blanched almonds, the others got fresh Chorizo. Then wrapped in bacon and on the egg at 300.
Bacon was precooked some but not crisp, the Chorizo was precooked also, Original call for not precooking but cooking in the oven not on the egg. Would have been a total fire fight without the precook even doing indirect.
Pretty darn good the sweetness of the dates, the tratness of the goat and spice from the sausage. Not to say everything is better wrapped in bacon.
