somebody shut me the fark up.
I picked this up for $40. Its insulated, and in very good condition. I figured it would be a better alternative to replacing my Little Chief Electric that died out.
Sausage Maker no longer carries this model, and its still being sold under various labels, such as the LEM Smoker;

Mine is 1000 watts compared to the LEM and others which are 750 watts. The rheostat has High, Medium and Low, with a lot of wiggle room- The instructions are pretty basic, and I thought is was more like the LC, but I'm getting temps over 300* with my remote probe.
Anyone using one?
