We have several local businesses that we have developed a close working relationship with. Your normal suspects---Auto Service, Yard Guy, and Jeweler (don't laugh
).
Each year or two, we make some BBQ for them as "Thanks" for the special treatment we seem to get.
For our Auto Shop guys this year we made 6 lunches, primarily from leftover BBQ.
Here is how it came together.
Each plate had Pork, Brisket, 3 ABTs, and Beans with an empty compartment for some cold cole slaw.
Sorry for the poor focus--We were in a hurry at the end and did not give the camera time to auto-focus
Here is the slaw that went in the empty slot when they were ready to eat.
Fianlly, 6 lunches ready to go a mile down the road.
Also served them 2 sauces (1 sweet and 1 savory), a loaf of white bread, and sponge cake for desert.
Worked out real well and we had a great time doing it!
