So I haven't typed up much of a report in a while, figured I should.
Trying to cut back on the weight, so I decided I'd trim out some thighs and cook them with garlic rub instead of the traditional paprika based stuff..
SO Lawhorns it was.. Under the skin, and over.
Tossed on the ss-2 at 250. With 2 big chunks of pecan and fresh cherry.
1.5 hours, then up'd it to 285 for 30 min.
Got the skin crispy.. Just how I like it.
Not sure about yall but I like getting different than the traditional flavor profiles..
