is One Chatty Farker
Mrs R2 has a fear of fire and refused to light any of my cookers. It doesn't help that many years ago we had a cheap gasser with a broken igniter and I told her to stick a match through an opening to light it and she ended up with singed arm.
After martyleach's wife gave the MAK a hearty endorsement as being really easy to use my wife was interested. So with the help of some brethren over at Bart's Blazin' Q (BBQ PD and groundhog66), I brought this home:
The guys at Bart's suggested cooking some wings so my wife went out and bought some wings. I picked out some rubs for her to use for seasoning and she got them onto the MAK:
and she cooked up some delicious wings:
My role in this cook consisted of loading pellets, picking out rubs, and cleaning the grill grate after the cook. Maybe next time she'll let me cook on it. :twitch:
