&I was thinking about converting a brinkmann electric to charcoal.My plan is to plug the hole in the inner and outter charcoal pans with 2 1 1/4"knockout plugs, then proceed to mod dit out with day tripper mods, and drill a couple more air holes in inner charcoal pan.is the metal on the brinkmann electric as thicks as the charcoal one. Could I buy a seperate charcoal pan to use for when I want to do electric. Figure it would not be good to use the pan that has had.charcoal in it, as it would be.flammable. Thoughts anyone?
