Thought I lost my Thermapen!

So I couldn't find my good Thermapen and I was afraid I'd left it behind at church where I'd been doing a cook for the Youth Group, including two of mine. Searched high and low. Wife helped lead a search and rescue team and told me I could get a new one now that my fave was gone -- presumably absorbed by our church kitchen in some miscellaneous drawer.

Good news, right? I was going to go shopping online tonight!

Except now, my old one turned up, behind something in our own kitchen....

But I have permission to get a new one now....

Hmmm. It's like one of those ethical dilemmas for bbq gadget lovers....
