I can't compete with the parties you and big daddy Q throw, but if you come by my site I promise to give you some peanuts and drink your beer :mrgreen:
If you come by Saturday before lunch, I'll buy you an ear of corn. I'm the consummate big spender.

We should have some nice weather for a change at least.

I'm planning on getting out there Saturday afternoon. Probably a few hours before awards to cheer you guys on as usual.

Guys I will miss this one to, I can only make so many of the long trips a year. It was a great contest last year.
I'll see whoever makes it to Panama City March 2-3, I'm ready to compete again.

I'll be there! Looking forward to it as this will be the first competition i've seen. Looking forward to competing in the Pig on the Pond FBBQA Tournament in March.

Has anyone heard the results yet? I didn't get to come by today like I'd hoped. Johnny's still sick with a nasty cold. I had hoped it would have passed by now but instead looks like he's out for the weekend.

So anyway....How'd everybody do? It's nail biting here on my end.

This is a much tougher field than a lot of folks think...congrats to you guys that placed.

I'm nursing a nasty cold (since Thursday) and didn't venture out yesterday...I've judged or competed there the last three years -- it's a good contest with name teams, a large field, and lot's of talent.

Really interesting (and different) results.

For Firehouse and Jack's Old South to be at or near the top is not surprising--first class competitors!

As they say, on any day.........any team can be anywhere.
Gotta be some side stories here :wink:
