Help needed replacing the One-Touch Cleaning System Kit on two kettles

I bought a 18" kettle today on CL for 20! Bad news is the cleaning system is all rusted out,I broke the thumbscrew off while messing around with it.
I also have a 22" kettle that I want to replace the blades on too but I cant figure out how to get it off.
I stopped and thought I would share some pics to see what the best way to get these fixed.

Your options are minimal and involve the use of a drill, a Dremel tool, or a hacksaw.

You can try to drill out the busted off screw or you're gonna have to cut the whole shebang off.
 
A cutoff wheel on a grinder will make quick work out of what's left of the bottom of those. Just don't nick the kettle itself. If you don't have an angle grinder, you can score a cheap one for $20-$30. Everyone should have one, and once you do, you'll wonder how you ever lived without one. Especially if you insist on fixing everything yourself on your crappy old vehicles like I do! Just be sure to wear safety glasses and heavy leather gloves when grinding!

I drilled the screw out on mine after it broke off when I tried to unscrew it. Was easy. Looks like there is more than one way to do the job from the excellent posts above. You should not have that problem again with the replacement kit.
