It's fun; I did it a couple of years ago.
Go to the middle of nowhere, turn left and go another 50 miles. ;)

I'm thinking of heading down. I have friends that live in Bonita, so I can go over and park the RV at their place after the contest.

Do they get 25 teams? Anyone know?

Felda is really something! A lot of weird stuff going on out there. Lots of good teams, snakes and alligators, swamp buggies and ATVs. Teams are tucked in around the palmettos. The organizers/hosts are a fine example of Southern hospitality. I think there was a watermelon cannon. I just drove over to judge last year - I'd really like to cook there sometime, Scottie.

I, too, have heard only great things about Felda. Dr. Frank N Swine goes every year... if you can, get yerself some of his pepper jelly, it's fantastic!

and, I hear, better bring yer A game. (alligator...heheheh)
