Default Hello Everyone

So I have never really smoked before but I do grill on a brinkman gas grill. I just got given a 55 gallon drum so I am planning on building an offset wood burning smoker. I am pretty excited about it. Any and all suggestions would be apreciated.

Welcome from cajun country

Look at the UDS thread for a smoker for a 55 gal drum.

Welcome from the Hoosier state!! My suggestion would be to turn that drum into a UDS.
