Hey Everyone. What is the best under canopy lighting? I don't really trust Amazon reviews anymore with the paid reviews. I have a 10x10 canopy and am looking to light that workspace. Battery or plug in is fine, just want to best way to light my work area. Thanks in advance!

If it is white, just a single clamp on utility spot light pointed up will give you all you want

It is blue, I should have said that. I just can't decide if a hanging latern or a standing work type light would be best. Not sure what type of either is the best.

LED rope lighting! Plenty of light and uses little power in case you don't have power provided.

^^^2nd the LED ropes in the canopies.

I thought the rope lights would be a good fit on my outdoor BBQ Shack but they didn't cut it.
Costco has these: http://www.costco.com/Feit-Outdoor-...ets,-Includes-36-Bulbs.product.100140552.html

I put some LED bulbs over my cookers and it illuminates the whole 12x12 overhang and deck area.

The price was a helluva lot less than I paid for the rope lights and these are long enough to cover the inside of two 10x10 popups strung inside the trusses-add a few 40-60 W equivalent LED bulbs and you are set!

I used to spend a lot of time hanging lights, but I realized I only need them for a few minutes a night, so I just hang one of these for a few minutes. It's pretty robust packaging, and since it's LED it's hard to break. You could certainly leave them up for much longer, but it's quick and easy. There are 2 spots for the hook, so you can hang vertically or horizontally.

These look really good.

I used this last year and use it to hang on the hood of the car when I work on it. They make bigger more expensive ones that I may pick up but this lights up the pop up tent perfectly. I kept it on all night last year and the batteries are still the same ones. The spotlight version is $60 but at $21 this one is pretty good. It fits our needs and battery powered. We got it when we realized we could not plug our rope lights in as we didn't have an rv power adapter. We had a kerosene lantern for if power went out as I had heard of power outages at comps. Forgot to check my wick to make sure it was good and while my wife went to Wal-Mart to see if she could get a lantern or something the kerosene lantern burned out and left me in the dark. I had used it to many times night fishing. Try cooking and feeling your way around in the dark. Lesson learned to check all lights before competing and to make sure my back up lantern has a good wick. That lantern was a few years old and never changed the wick as it just didn't need it.

another vote for the LED rope or tape lights. With a little work you can even put them on a rheostat and control how bright they get.

Yet another vote for LED rope lighting. I got mine from Walmart and you'd be amazed on how bright they are!

Rope lights are cool but hanging and taking down gets old just for a few hrs of light. Clamp lights are amazingly bright and super simple to put up.

Simple shop fluorescent from lowes or home depot and you can now get led bulbs at sams and Costco. Hang it with a couple of small chain with hooks from where ever you need.

This allows for area to be lit and can control the height so team mates can sleep.

Less than $50 to implement and if using standard bulbs heck of a lot less than that.

Yep, rope lights for ambiance if you're going to stay up and hang out, simple clamp lights if you just want to check color and wrap at night.
