Question regarding FEC-100

I'm doing a cook right now, and just noticed a very small amount of smoke coming out the bottom right side of my FEC...apparently there's a leak. Is that normal? Or did they miss a seal?
 
How old is it? If it is new it takes a few cooks for the seals to tighten up. Is the smoke coming out from the door or where?
 
I'm not real big fan of the two piece door seal myself. It may take a few cooks to seal it up tight if that even does it. I notice at start up with mine that I'll get some smoke coming out of the drip pan area too.

A small amount, I don't think any thing seals 100%. You should see my CTO:biggrin:
 
Ahh...that might be where the smoke is coming from...the hole for the drip pan! Thanks for the feedback.
