Phubar's Dinner with Brethren GTR Pt.4 Pron

This weekend GTR dropped by again in Utrecht,The NetherPharkinglands but instead of bringing his band he brought his Phamily this time.

His oldest son wanted to spot some graffiti so we took a little trip to a bicycle tunnel where legal graffiti is allowed.

We had a great time...GTR's Phamily went back to Amsterdam yesterday and GTR stayed the night at Padawan's Place because the next day we went to our annual WGA/Phamily Day.

-tuna empenadas
-porkneck
-homemade pork Phennel sausage with Phennel/apple/tomato salad
-Iberico pork rack with BBQ risotto

Great time indeed and great cook. I've had the pleasure of hanging out with GTR and Ms. GTR around last Xmas and it was a great time. Truly cool people.

Now if I can hang out with Phu and the gang.:-D One of these days when I find my way to The NetherPharkinglands.

Great pix Phu!

We really had an amazing time. Phubar and Padawan Phed us the most amazing Phood and the company was even better. Hanging out with these Pholks is a most excellent way to spend an evening - AND I got the bonus of another day with them today at the Dutch Phorum bash as well. :whoo: Everybody I met there was also great and I can't remember ever having a weekend oPh better eating.

I've said it bePhore and I'll say it again - Phubar is a very natural and talented cook - it's in his blood. Padawan is masterful as well and together they are an awesome team. I Pheel privileged to know them and I am grateful Phor the power of this site that made it possible Phor us to become Phriends. They treated me and my Phamily as their own and I look Phorward to doing the same Phor them one day.

I have some pix (not as good as Phubar's) that I'll put up tomorrow - it's late, I'm Phull, and I need to sleep!

Too bad CharredApron couldn't make it anymore.
He had allready rented a camper and a campsite.
They were allready halfway but one of the dogs decided he didn't like to travel so they had to turn back.

Phu's plated Phood pix are the best, so I'll put up some hanging out shots I took.

Everything was amazing - tuna empanadas, pork roast, which was a shoulder cut cooked to about 140 and so tender and juicy and PhlavorPhul, sausage with Phennel, and Iberico pork rack. The sides were an apple salad with Phennel (with the sausage) and Padawan made the best risotto I've ever had to go with the pork rack. Everything was absolutely nailed! Such a great time and again - thanks for everything Phubar and Padawan! :clap2:
