There is a guy on this forum looking to get his chicken skin to crisp up...of course it's not going to be crunchy !!! but the trick is to coat ya bird or pieces with oil....rub with whatever ya want then hit it again with some pam or brush it with oil about 1/2 way through...blam !!!! nice tight skin just like this !

Nooo! That is me! Thanks for the tip, but it doesn't work for me. Last time my BCC was sprayed 4 times with EVO but no scripy skin. May be I am wrong with cooking T ! Wich T do you cook at ?
 
I use no oil to get crispy skin. A high cooking temp works for me. 300/325 is what I like.
 
Must have been me. What temp did you cook it at ?? Looks great!!
 
Yep

Lots of ways to get to the crispy skin finish line. When it happens, it's wonderful. Like yesterday.
