I haven't been able to cook much lately but made time for a fatty. A fatty will last me a couple of days at the least.

Went with my favorite filling, fried tatoes, onions, smoked cheese... no ham this time.

stuffed about 3/4 full.. then chilled while rolling out the sausage.

I roll the sausage inside of a gallon baggie...about 3/4 of the way up, split the sides of the baggie and use it for rolling the fatty.

I could have let the bacon get a bit crispier.. I love crisp bacon... but I was too hungry to wait.

I liked it a lot!

Hadn't had a fatty since camping last summer. Not sure why I waited so long.

Sorry for so many pics but thanks for looking!

Oh my LAWD!!!

That looks fantastic Jeanie!!

"chicken fried fatty"...those words will haunt me until I eat one. :hungry: Very pretty pix of very pretty food there, Jeanie - and that bacon weave is impressive!

You got that down to a science and an art - nicely done!

Thank you Greg! I make the same ole fatty almost every time. Someday I'll get creative and try something new. lol
Hope you try a chickenfried one some day. Not sure why I like them so much...could be the gravy. :becky:

Pretty sure we are still waiting on that seminar at the April Texas bash. That looks fantastic!

lol I forgot all about that! Wish I could make it to one of those Texas bashes...it's not all that far and I would love to meet you all! Thanks Sliding Billy! :)

Thank you George!!
I'm pretty sure the strawberries cancel out anything unhealthy on the plate.

You do know Jeanie that it is cruel and unusual punishment when you post one of your cooks and the best any of us can do is drool and dream. I have never been able to satisfactorily roll out and stuff a fatty with out it falling apart, you make it look so easy.:hail:

awesome, awesome, awesome, now I'm hungry...I think there is an old fruit cup in the work fridge, that will have to do I guess.

Thanks Bill, you're way too kind! Fatties aren't hard to make, I think it just comes down to how much "stuff" a person stuffs em with.
