22" WSM Extender

Hi,

So, I have a friend that owns a family business that does fabrication and metal work.

I was thinking about having a new middle section (without the door) made for the 22" to fit on top of the current middle section and double my cooking capacity.

I currently have what is effectively another middle section from a conversion kit turning a kettle into a smoker, but it doesn't fit properly on the WSM.

Has anyone gone this route? Any thoughts or suggestions?
