how much pork fits in a pan

About how much cooked pulled pork fits into a shallow full hotel pan? I never bother to really weigh as I don't sell by the tray. I am thinking about 9lbs cooked, or 2 whole butts worth.

The shallow pan is only about 6 lbs (10-12lbs pre cooked). The deep will hold the two butts (18 lbs pre cooked) you speak of.

bizznessman he is referring to disposable aluminum pans used in chafing dishes.

I use a 6" deep pan to pull and serve my pork in and it will hold 8 butts or 30 lbs. We put 6 lbs in 3"deep foil pans. A full 3' pan will hold 12 to 14 lbs.
 
I always use the 1/2 tin, which holds a nice 5 pounds leveled out..easier to warm easier to handle..
