repainting a lang

Finger paint....lol.. I used high temp rustoleum when I repainted my Shirley before I sold it.
 
Home Depot or Lowes carry the high heat Rustoleum in spray cans or you can but the quarts that would be cheaper if you have a paint gun .
 
Found this few hours away.its pretty bad, been sitting outside for while lots of surface rust.got quote from ben lang to restore for $450.
 
if that is sandblasted and painted I would let him do it .
 
I would pay them to do the work unless you have a good shop yourself. That is a lot of surface to clean prep and paint.

If you want it done right, I would take it in to have it sand blasted before coating with whatever you choose.
 
So far nothing that isn't completely cosmetic. Get a 400-500K BTU weed burner to clear out the inside, brush it all down and see what you have.
 
Looks very manageable to me... Sandblast inside and out... Re-season and bam you have a brand new cooker... If the lugnuts bother you put new chrome lugnuts on the aluminum rims look good to me
