We had left over pulled pork and were looking for a new meal to use it up. Saw posting here on the Bretheren about pulled pork chili. So, we gave it try. My wife cooked up a pot of homemade chili and used pulled pork, bacon (everything is better with bacon) and ground turkey plus all the normal Midwest chili fixens.
She had never tried bacon or any pork in her chili, well that's gonna stop. This was a great batch of chili. The smokiness of the pulled pork and saltyness of the bacon added another dimension to the flavors. Chili was so good I forgot to get Pr0n all plated up. Had to get a pix of the chili in the pot.
If you have extra pulled pork give it try in your chili!
