This was boogiesnap's winning entry in the 2013 "Let's Do the Tubesteak Boogie" Throwdown.

This is an open sausage category and is not just limited to hot dogs. This is a great opportunity to get the long Memorial Day weekend started and is only limited by your creativity!

You may submit entries that are cooked from Friday 5/26 through the entry submission deadline of 12 p.m. Central US Time on Monday 6/12/17.

Entry pictures must be submitted by 12 p.m. (NOON) Central US Time on Tuesday 6/12/17

Just a quick question?

How are we defining tubesteak for this TD? To me, a tubesteak is a hot dog, not just any sausage, but I will defer to our esteemed TD mods in this :-D

I agree with Ron L. I'm about to go to the store to stock up.

Are we talking standard dogs like Nathan's, Farmer John, Sabrett's, Ball Park or
Brats/Polish Sausages/Wursts or
Exotic meat mixes like cevapcici? or
Chorizo/Morcilla or
Can I stuff ground beef/chicken in a casing?

Inquiring minds (and wallets) need to know.

I made an adjustment to the category description to include sausages as well as tubestgeak.
