I'm going to be in Bowling Green soon & have gotten a couple of places to try but wondering if any other q'ers have thoughts. I've been told Smokey Pig by the Corvette Museum & Whitt's (chain place so-so bbq). I've asked about the sauce at SP & they say it's a vinegar type but couldn't get more from them (they aren't q'aholic like us :razz:). I'm more a fan of KC style sauces but do like the odd vinegar sauce here & there so is it like a NC vinegar or what? We've a couple of local places that have a couple of different kinds of vinegar sauces - Ollie's (vinegar w/ pepper chaser taste) & Saw's (vinegar twang w/ sweet from cane juice & heat from pepper chaser taste). Not a fan of mutton which I know is one of the things in this area.
