Went to sell my akorn Kamado for dirt cheap. Started cleaning up and bottom completely rusted apart and other pieces literally crumbling. Beyond salvage. Junk pile it is

Going Pat myself on back for being honest. I couldn't easily hid problem and ripped guy off to time of $50.

Either 4 or 5 years. It was a mediocre run

Getting good one open range next week

Summit price point I'd save bit more and get m1 I think

I've looked into the M1 and I think it's a pretty neat cooker. I wouldn't mind having one.

You will like the Open Range.

No offense meant, but did you keep it covered? I've had mine for 6+ years and still going strong.

I will probably step up to a Weber Summit if and when my Akorn dies. However, I do like the small footprint that the Akorn has on my deck.
