Got the new cooker today and of course had to break it in. There are some that mock...but we LOVE chili dogs over here! So .... chili dogs it was!

I used one split for this cook, split up into thumb diameter pieces. The dogs cooked for about 5 minutes. I will say, it was much easier spinning them, didnt have to worry about them burning on one side(which is something i do almost EVERY time i cook dogs lol)

Woo hoo congrats on he maiden voyage. Looks to be a complete success all around. I can't wait to see some more goodies come outta that bad boy.

Those look awesome. I could eat chili dogs every day of my life! What part of Texas are you from?
 
Chili dogs sound like a great way to break in the new cooker. Looks great. Had chili dogs and chili cheeseburgers last night.
