The Meatheads had a great day yesterday. Wayne got 3rd in Pork! It was awesome. I was helping Big Creek BBQ (Jeff_in_KC) with the open and we right next to the Meatheads. In fact we tested all their stuff.

My guess is that they didn't show up. Word around the contest was something like 30 teams didn't show up this weekend because of the price of gas.

Congrats to all Brethren members!!! What a great first experience for us in KC. Were amazed to get a 3rd in chicken (tied for 1st) and a 4th in ribs (tied for 3rd) in the invitational. Have a feeling we didn't do too well in the open. Either way, it was great to get the KC BBQ experience and meet alot of great people!
