Got her back on Saturday evening! All sandblasted and repainted. also had the fire box flanges fix up and had gaskets put on. New fire grate, welded flanges on the cooking section doors, replaced all thermometers and had one installed on the firebox side of the cooking chamber.
Here's the link to the before pix that I posted.

Thanks for looking! Going to be having some good times with this Ol Gal! (Aka "the beast " )

Awesome! Great job. Seeing this gives me the same good feeling I get when someone saves a classic car from the junkyard. Not sure if your looking for spring handles but I've purchased them here. (You'd have to cut the handle itself, slide the old one out and slide this one in then re-weld). Might cost you a rack of ribs to a welder. :)

Nice! You can smoke a whole hog on that rig!

The gaskets added to the fire box is a good idea, especially for Colorado weather.

Yeah, she's got a LOT of Q left in her!!! Great Job!:thumb:

That's the thing about metal that I love, it can be reworked and brought back to 100%. It's good to see people that appreciate and take care of what they have.
