After a disaster at my last comp with rain and very high winds I am looking for a solution to a problem. The box my foil came in got wet and is no longer useable.

Has anyone used the KENKUT to dispense foil? Is this the best solution or is there another portable solution to this problem.

Would love to have something like that to hold 30" butcher's paper.
I'll even take a rectangular box.

I prefer the BBQ Guru Stainless steel foil box

It's more compact and durable than the Kenkut.

While I have only seen them (BBQ Guru box) in stores (Meadow Creek), and a few others at comps, I agree. The Kenkut is somewhat awkward. I have 2 of them and only use 1 for plastic wrap. The other Kenkut is still in the box.

For me, the heavy duty box that foil and plastic wrap comes in usually works fine. The plastic wrap box and built in cutter got trashed and I purchased the Kenkut to use the rest of the wrap.

Augh, what about the obvious answer of saving your money on all the fancy foil holders and get a new roll of foil and put the old roll in there when your other roll is used up?

That's great until it rains at the next comp and your new paper foil box disintegrates. This scenario is what prompted me into the Guru box.

We started using Kenkut's last year for foil and plastic wrap - pretty happy with them. You can get them from Amazon.

First thing I do when I get a new roll is duct tape the corners. You know its going to fall apart eventually. reinforce while you still have time
