I am doing a test run for a pig roast and i ahve some fresh burlap that smells of linn seed oil or some other kind of smelly oily smell

anyone know how to get this smell out.

I am going to place it over the whole pig to keep it miost after its been on for about 3-4 hrs on the smoker.

any help is appriciated.

I don't think you'll want it in your smoker or on the pig. Find something else.

And I'd like to see pics if you use a weed burner. Remember all good cooks have a fire extinguisher ready.

linseed oil is edible but its also flammable. if it were me id get different burlap. using a weed burner is just gonna set it on fire.

Well ok I guess I should go back tot he drawing board and see what else I need to use to keep the pig moist.

Thanks guys and gals and Im gonna post pictures of the whole event.

Go to joanne's fabrics or something like that and get a bolt of cheese cloth.
