I celebrated my birthday while camping. My birthday was actually a couple of days later but this was the only time friends and I could get together.
I pretty much celebrated all week but had my favorite dinner one night. :grin:
Fixed my tatoes, split and added bacon, onion, salt, pepper and butter before wrapping.
Onto the fire with a skillet of mushrooms with onion and garlic...
also started a small pot of garlic butter.
when the tatoes were almost tender I added the ribeyes.... then asparagus drizzled with olive oil and seasoned with cracked black pepper and kosher salt.
turned the steaks...
lastly I added some crab legs.. just long enough to heat through and catch some smoke. (I love smoked crab legs)
that's it! supper was ready....
Some ribeye with shrooms, tatoe, crab legs, asparagus and garlic butter.
I cut down a styrofoam cup for my garlic butter...
I had my heart set on crab legs all day.
Later that evening I added another log to the fire...
made an all-night rum and coke to sip on.
and then I completely melted.... It was so relaxing..
Had a really nice time visiting with friends and enjoyed the evening.
