Well I have read the Threads so tomorrow is the day. I think I cut the first chicken right. I took the middle of the back and the neck out. Then Trimmed some Skin now I'm Marinating it in Sun Dried Tomato Vinigrette.

The Second one is going to get skinned and then rubbed in the AM then on the smoker at 1 pm. Thinking on Doing a Fatty just cause the smokers lit.
 
If you cut a slit in the skin behind each leg, you can tuck them in and it will make it easier to pick up during the cook. It also makes it look like two chickens spooning...
 
We are on the smoker. 300F Fatty went on at 250F. Decided on Indirect heat.

Oh I forgot, Gotta work on my Cutting/trimming technique got seperated legs on the second one.
 
Love spatchedcocked chicken. Has been one of my favorite ways to do chicken since I found out what it was:icon_bigsmil Looking good:icon_cool
 
I also love to do them I think they look really good and cook faster

Both Chickens came out pretty good IMHO.

I liked the Skinless rubed one better than the Marinated one (well Today anyway).

I think I'll try again but I didn't notice that much difference from chicken parts.
