This is the first winter that I'll have my trailer for and wanted any tips for winterizing it. I'm draining and blowing out the fresh water system and putting some RV antifreeze in the trap. What are everyone's thoughts on covering it? My trailer is totally enclosed when I have the sides down. I may cook on my smoker in it over the winter from time to time.

That should pretty well do it, If at all possible best thing for it over the winter is to keep it inside somewhere. Keeping it out of the weather does wonders for any trailer. Just my 2 cents.

I've always read not to cover because of condensation. Also not to cover because of the tarp or cover will scratch the finish during bad winds. I own a fifth wheel and an enclosed trailer (not a bbq rig) and never covered them.
