GF Smoker Build

That's an awesome cooker, looks like a beast!

What gauge steel did you use for the frame and skins?
Any idea of what the thing weighs?

Thanks

The welder across the road, has the skills ☺️ 18 guage sheet metal and 2" square tubing for everything. I am not sure what the wall thickness is on my square tubing. I think it's around an 1/8" wall thickness. I have heard guys say they weigh about a #1000's. I will be able to tell you and have better idea tomorrow, when I try to pick it up with the tractor.

I am going to say that it weighs a #1000, for sure. The tractor just barely handled packing it home. The uneven, snow covered and icy ground made it a little more interesting too. :scared:
Rolls around nice and easy on the shop floor :whoo:

I will have to grab a few more pictures.....Got it all painted up today. Put all the hardware, door thermometer and ball valves on too. Just need the paint to cure, then I can put on the three door seal gaskets. Then a few paint touch ups, fire this BEAST Up !!
