Superstitions: not many to really think of. We stream the same Pandora every time.
Fails: My dad (regular partner) couldn't make a comp. My BIL sub brought a fifth of bourbon. Needless to say, I forgot to inject both my big meats, put them on late and at wrong temp. It was a disaster. Didn't even realise it until the next day, sober, at turn ins. Took our first top ten in both chicken and ribs that day, tanked (last place) both big meats so badly that we ended DAL. Never make that mistake again! Thought we had a chance after our top ten calls!
