He has a thread on the evolution of it. I am secretly hoping this is just a 1/10th scale test model and he will be building the king of cinder block smoke houses soon. I would try it myself, but I don't have the budget for the divorce lawyer right now.

Yup. There's been a few changes from the first thread, but I'll post all below. It started as a very small offset pit, which then grew all the way to a reverse flow offset with elevated fire rack. Cooks amazing and is fun and easy to build...anywhere!
