Thank you to Marcel Fortin, MCBJ from CA, who posted on the CBBQA site last night that the system is operational

From the Judges section select "My Judge Scores", login, and voila

http://www.kcbs.us/member_login.php?m=1&source=judge-scores/

Mine has data going back to October 2013.

It shows my scores for each entry judged, my total score, the average table score, my category average and the category table average

This is already proving to be beneficial in analyzing my scoring tendencies. For example, if the average table score for an entry is 32 (8 8 8 ) then I tend to be similar. On entries that I perceive to be very good or excellent, I frequently assign higher scores (9 9 9, 9 8 9, 9 9 8 ) than the rest of my table. For entries that I perceive to be above average or below, my scores are often drastically lower than the rest of the table.

Now that there is data to analyze, I am considering taking brief notes at the end of category judging on certain samples to better compare my thoughts at the time to the information once posted for review.

I don't know how accurate this data is. I only judged the 4 KCBS pro meat categories at the Huntsville, AL contest in May of this year, but have scores listed for backyard... I did NOT judge the backyard event.

In reviewing data posted from other contests there are many categories listed with judge scores and yet I did not judge those categories at those contests; Kids Q, chef's choice, sausage, backyard, etc. That data posted for these ancillary categories is not correct.

I only have one contest in there. I was a bit lower than the table average, but not too big of an outlier. I was harder on appearance than I would have thought. In any case, very good information to have.

I'd contact the office, if you haven't already. I can think of multiple causes off the top of my head. Having a CBJ # that's showing inaccurate data gives them a place to start.

I have been contacted by someone who told me that There's programming issues that are bringing in other data. That's why it's not "OFFICIALLY" released until next month.

Thanks for the link! I'm finding similar results in my judging too, I am higher than the table avg (by 2-3 points) on entries that I judged to be very good or excellent. But my overall average per category is usually right in line with the rest of the table.

I was curious on mine but I don't even see the link at all when signed in now

Nice. It is good to see how you compare to the table as a whole. My scores ran about 0.4 higher than the table averages. Interesting.

I'm kinda tickled. Apparently I'm not "that judge". I'm consistantly within one point of the table average. I think this will be eye opening for some judges.

FYI- the judge program isn't up & running yet - and was taken down from the site- it still being tested. KCBS plans on sending out an email once it's up & running- earliest date we had heard would be July.

The link above works! You have to have a member login for kcbs.us. This is a KCBS member only thing but since all CBJs have to be members, it's a way to keep judge data discreet for one member.

yeah we wouldnt want judges to suffer the transparency that us cooks have to! hahahah

I think this is really useful for organizers and reps if they let them be more involved in the selection of judging They have no say but are responsible for seating them

Not sure if it will be available to anyone other then the judge.

You're probably right, but I would like to see this posted as public information. There is no reason why we as judges should be provided with the ability to decide the results of a contest, and not be prepared to stand behind the scores we gave

Depending on what info is included, it may not be advisable if you see an issue with judges that have wanted to take a look at score sheets to determine which teams they judged.

Double blind.
