So we made the decision to switch to some Compart butts this season and I'm finding that the MM is damn near extinct on these butts so we are back to looking again. Anyone prefer one butt over another?

I AGREE..great taste but no junk in the trunk on the Compart. I waiting to see what others say here. I saw a post on FB last week of some guy going off on a supplier whom I will not name on here about the poor quality of the compart and lack of MM after the supplier said they were hand selected?

I saw that to. I guess the guy thought he was getting the holy grail of pork. Those pics are typical of Compart. But yea if anyone would mind sharing either here or PM if you want to keep it a secret.

I found they tasted great, but cooked way different and the mm was awol. Quit using them cause we didn't want the mm we used to have a different flavor from the rest of the pork. Too bad, cause it tastes like pork is supposed to taste and used to taste.
