wood size

looks like it would work but it would haft to be bolted down .

I know a couple folks that have used them and they like them. Also for your wood take a trip down 377 Whiskey Flats. There is a wood supplier right by the shooting range. Think you could safe some cash on your wood if they sell direct which I think they do.

The Kindling Cracker is great and very easy to use. I have a 4# short handled sledge that works very well and only takes a couple of whacks. Mine is not bolted down, but I would recommend that you put it up on a stump or very large diameter log.

Northern Tool has them for $100 and sometimes $90. They are virtually un breakable.

That video shows already smaller splits being split- many full size splits wouldn't fit I don't thinks.?

some use this:

I'm too Lazy to cut or split wood so i use full size splits even if I run Hot. I'll crack door on the smoker (vertical smokers) if too Hot- wasting wood but oh Well......

Smitty.... I can easily fit 6" logs in my Kindling Cracker with no trouble.

I like the design wish they made one bigger for doing splits. I may need to go the hydraulic route.
