Dried jalapeños

I’ve watched a few video on drying jalapeño but have any of your actually tried to dry any ? What was your process cook time an temp etc. I want to make some jalapeño an cheese snack stick an want to try my hand at drying my own jalapeños. So any first hand experience will help
 
Cut in half, seed and then dehydrate. I go 155 (thats what it says on dehydrator, I haven't temped it) for however long it takes. Quite a while (10-12 hours or more?) I prefer Habanero though. I put in a freezer bag and use a rolling pin to crush. Not sayin it's right. Just what I have done
